Frequently Asked Questions

Who attends your retreats? How many people?

The people who are drawn to our retreats are interested in relaxing and unwinding, but they also have a desire to learn, explore, and grow. Our participants are men and women looking to give themselves the time and space to reconnect with their vibrancy. Retreats run with as few as 6 participants and 2 facilitators, with a maximum attendance of 40.

I've never been to the retreat destination before, is it safe?

We choose our locations based on safety, comfort, and luxury. But we don’t believe in isolating you away from the local culture and community like at an all-inclusive resort. You’ll find the experience of being on a retreat with us to be a perfect mix of guided luxury and cultural discovery. Not only will we be sure to make you feel physically safe, but we also create an environment that is safe emotionally, free from judgment or expectations and entirely accepting of who you are.

What's included or not included in the price?

Shared accommodations, and scrumptious healthy food is included at each retreat, as well as specific group activities, coaching sessions as outlined in the page for specific retreats. Some retreat locations will include access to WiFi, check in with the specific retreat details to be sure.

The following are not included in any of our retreats:
– Airfare
-Transportation to and from the airport
– Travel Insurance (highly recommended)
– Any required travel visas or airport exit taxes
– Alcohol and additional consumables beyond three meals per day
– Additional spa treatments, coaching sessions, or group activities beyond what is included in your specific retreat.

Where can I get the best price on airfare?

We’ve had good luck with Google Flights and Kayak.com.

Do I need to have travel insurance?

We highly recommend getting travel insurance to cover the cost of the retreat and airfare. Depending on the location, you may be required to carry medical travel insurance, and this is recommended even in locations where we do not require it. We can offer suggestions on where to get these types of insurance

I want to learn the local language, where is a good place to get started?

Check out a great free resource at memrise.com. You could also purchase a program from Pimsleur Languages or Rosetta Stone. That said, you will not be required to speak anything other than English to get the full experience of being on a retreat with us.
